Armando Aceves

Armando Aceves, served USMC 1984-1991. Armando served in Iraq with the U.S. Marines, during Operation Desert Storm. Armando is currently in remission.

Armando's case with the V.A. has been denied. Service connection to the AML has been denied.

 

Sgt. Brian H. Alvarado, U.S. Marine Corps

Brian Alvarado

Sgt. Brian H. Alvarado served two tours in Iraq. His second deployment was in 2005 and came back in April of 2006. In December of 2007 they he was diagnosed with cancer. He has been battling cancers ever since.  Now in 2010, Brian is suffering with  Dermatomyositis and additional health issues. Brian continues to battle the VA to receive acknowledgement that his illnesses are service related. See Brian's page for more info.

 

Joshua Barber,
DOD Contractor

Joshua Barber

Joshua served in Iraq with the Department of Justice, August 2005 through June 2006. Joshua recently celebrated his one year anniversary after receiving a successful Bone Marrow Transplant, which occurred June 2009 at the James Cancer Center in Ohio. Joshua was also just accepted to nursing school. Josh is an inspiration to all who know him. See Joshua's page for more info.

 

Master Sergeant Jason Gallegos, U.S. Army

Jason Gallegos

MSGT Gallegos has served with the U.S. Army 1992-throuh present. Jason has been deployed three times 2003-2009. Jason is currently battling CML and the VA for benefits and care.

Service connection to the CML has been denied.

 

Donald Hoey, Retired SGT. 1st Class, U.S. Army

Donald Hoey

Donald served with the U.S. Army 1975-1995. He served in Iraq during Operation Dessert Storm. Donald is currently in remission.

His case with the V.A. has been denied. Service connection to the AML has been denied.
